Gourmet tapas by the sea
Another red letter day for gourmet tapas fans is on the horizon as gastro promoters Chefs(in) have organised one of their foodie sh(in)digs in the rather cool surroundings of Purobeach Palma. October 20th is the date, 8 pm the time, and €69 the price for an unforgettable gourmet and more experience in fabulous surroundings.
For the uninitiated Chefs(in) is a body of top chefs from the Balearics whose aim is to promote the gastronomy of the islands by various events just like this one. The Peccata Minuta – it means little sins – events aim to provide a gourmet experience; food, wine, coffee, conversation, and music, all under one roof – usually the twinkling stars of the night sky, in interesting surroundings.
In October, the Purobeach event will take place around the Puro pool as the sun sets with views of the mountains and the Palma cityscape as a backdrop. Seven top chefs will be providing some brilliant culinary creations in miniature and there'll be wine and coffee available too.
It's a wonderfully social event, and a great opportunity to mingle and strike up conversations with new friends who share a love of food – easy when it's a standing only event, just like a bar to bar tapas route – with just a few bistro tables dotted about to rest your drinks!

If you want to go, you'll need to buy your tickets in advance from the Chefs(in) website. Attendance is fixed, so you ticket guarantees you a tapa from each chef, so even though this edition starts at 20:00, you can actually arrive any time up to 22:30 knowing that your tapa is reserved for you!
